Finding The Best Online Carnival Cruise Package

Article by Jones Harington

Spending some quality time away from your normal life can easily be achieved by taking a cruise. This can lead to new adventures, plenty of relaxation, and the fun time you deserve. It doesn’t matter if you have never gone on a cruise or if you go all the time, this is a great way to travel and Carnival cruises offers many destinations for you to choose from.

With spring break coming around March, you may want to plan accordingly. At this time of year, many cruises to the warmer weather areas will book up fast and will be full. If you plan to travel in March or even sometimes in April, you need to book your cruise well in advance to ensure you get a spot. This will help to make sure you get exactly what you want out of your cabin and out of your trip.

However, if you don’t want to travel at this time you can find one of the best cruise deals by booking for a different type of the year. You just need to know when to book and decide what you really want out of the cruise you are going to take. Sometimes you can find great last minute deals out of ports like Galveston, Texas or Miami, Florida if you wait until a month before you book your cruise. This can ensure you get a great deal and works well if you want to travel in September.

Carnival provides many different types of cruises including three day, five day, seven day, and even longer. The shorter your cruise, the less expensive it will be, but you will also go to fewer ports. They are a very experienced company and offer more ships in most ports than any other company in the United States offers. This gives you plenty of choices and helps to ensure you are not limited with options. This also helps to keep the cost down and allows you to get a price that you can afford for your cruise.

Most of the time their cruises go to areas in the Caribbean, Europe, and Alaska, but they also travel to Mexico, Hawaii, and a few other islands. If you were to travel to one of these destinations by plane, you would find it to be very expensive. This makes a cruise a wonderful option to see parts of the world you have never seen. You can find a port near you, fly or drive to the port area, get on a boat, and enjoy the open sea while traveling to many great destinations you would not be able to afford to see any other way.

You do want to spend some time reading reviews and finding out the information about the different ships they offer and what amenities they will include. Some ships cater more to families, while others are perfect for adults looking to get away. This will help you to decide on the ship that offers exactly what you want and goes to the places you want to go to. The atmosphere of the cruise will also vary depending on where you are headed. Those heading to Europe or Alaska will act the same as those heading to a tropical destination, just like a cruise for families will be much different than one for an adult.

By knowing when to book to get the best deal and how to get your money’s worth, you can come back from your cruise vacation with enough money do it again and again.

Tip #1: Book up to 18 months in advance and save big. Last minute cruises are also affordable if you can handle the rush.

Tip #2: Search for deals between one and three months before departure. That is the cutoff time for travelers to cancel their cruise vacations. This is a great cheap cruise tip since ships will discount the fare to sell out the cabins.

Tip #3: Avoid peak holiday seasons such as Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring Break. Not only is it more expensive to travel during these times, there are more crowds.

Tip #5: If you prefer bottled water, buy your own before boarding the ship. Drinks of any kind are expensive on board, except for coffee and tea. You can drink recycled water which is perfectly safe but sometimes has a funny taste.

Tip #6: Drinks will be charged separately and billed to your sail and sign card. Keep a running total. This can get really expensive.

Tip #7: Avoid the high-priced tours and create your own excursions by taking a taxi. They are usually lined up outside the ship. The drivers are normally friendly and eager to please. Of course, always be careful and trust your instincts.

Tip #8: Repeat customers will receive incentives or upgrades. The cruise lines are scrambling for your business and they want to make sure you keep coming back.

Tip #9: Another cheap cruise tip is to travel during a reposition cruise for a ridiculously low price. This is when cruise lines move their ships from cold-weather spots to warm-weather destinations in April and May. And then make the reverse in September through November. These repositioning cruises means one-way tickets to glorious destinations with regular stops, sometimes for as low as fifty dollars.

Cheap Cruise – One Shopper’s Secret To Finding A Cheap Cruise Deal!

Article by Dean Caporella

When shopping for a cheap cruise one of the golden rules is to never settle for an initial price.

More importantly, avoid booking through a cruise line who will generally off load their cabin tickets to specialist sellers such as travel agents and online travel sites.

Shopping For The Best Cheap Cruise Deal

There is an art to nailing the cheapest price possible for a cruise and unless you are an experienced cruiser, you will be unaware of some of the best tips for finding a cheap cruise.

Shopping around is sound advice. For example, if you are planning well ahead, say 6-7 months in advance and the cruise vacation being advertised is appealing, then with a little vigilance, you can get the initial price down.

Cheap Cruise Tip

This tactic is used effectively by a regular cheap cruise hunter friend who was happy to share this tip with us. He cruises once a year and is an absolute fan but a very prudent shopper.

A Carnival cruise scheduled to leave Florida for the Caribbean was being advertised at 00 per couple for basic accomodation. By shopping around, this price was eventually reduced to just under 00.

How?

By shopping around. A list of travel agents offering cabins on the cruise was made and after spending a couple of hours on the phone to each of them, the final price was settled on.

Basically, our prudent shopper just asked each agent what they were prepared to discount the cruise ticket at and then presented the lowest bid to each of them. The interesting aspect was most of the agents were willing to wheel and deal.

Shop And Compare

Whether you are prepared to go to this much effort to secure a cheap cruise deal is up to you but remember, there is usually room to move and if you accept the initial sticker price without asking the question, then you could be costing yourself some extra money.

This is called shop and compare and can be a very effective method in getting the best discount deal possible.

Finding Great Deals on 5-Star Luxury World Cruises

Article by Sarah Martin

Taking a 5-star luxury world cruise doesn’t have to cost you an arm and a leg, which means people can set sail on a luxury cruise that may have thought they were too expensive. Contrary to popular opinion, the cost of 5-star luxury cruises is not a lot more expensive than the cost of a regular cruise. Just because the title says “luxury” consumers automatically assume it is out of their price range and dismiss it before even taking a second look at what the cruise entails.

Of course, you expect to pay more for a world cruise than one that lasts from 3 to 16 days. The mere fact that cruising around the world takes at least 90 days means you do need a block of time in your life that you can devote to travel. The time factor is often the main element that keeps many potential cruisers from looking at deals in this sector, but if you are retired, this is one way you can kick off the start of a new era in your life.

5-star luxury world cruises mean that your every need will be met when you are aboard ship. On an ordinary cruise, you are responsible for paying gratuities in addition to the cost of your fare which you must take into consideration when budgeting for your spending money while on the cruise. With a luxury cruise, all of this is factored into the overall cost. If a cruise is in your future, you should compare the difference in the prices of a regular cruise around the world and that of a luxury cruise and then compare what you get for the small amount of extra money that is involved.

A 5-star luxury world cruise offers you the ultimate in luxury and amenities. You will be staying on a floating 5-star hotel for the duration of your adventure. Dine on the best cuisine, taste fine wines and alcohol, and enjoy top of the line entertainment and activities. You won’t have to line up to wait your turn at an exercise machine in the gym and you will be able to obtain professional advice from exercise experts for your workout routine.

There are no clocks on cruises and on a luxury cruise you have the freedom to spend your time any way that you please. Stay in bed all day if you wish, dine in private in your stateroom or on your balcony, enjoy a decadent glass of Syrah, and bask in the attention of private attendants.

You can choose to start your cruise in the departure port of your choice, even if you are willing to fly to a far away destination. If you don’t have the time to take in the full world cruise, you have the option of enjoying several segments of the trip to one or more continents. You can plan your itinerary according to the specific destinations you wish to visit.

When you take a 5-star luxury world cruise, there is luxury in every facet of the voyage right down to the linens on the bed and the accessories in the bathroom. Around the clock room services, massages, and longer lengths of time when you land in the various ports of call are just a few of the unique features available. Depending on the popularity of the destination, there may even be an overnight stop scheduled so that you are able to take in the exciting nightlife of the location.

Along with the glamour of being able to travel the world in style, a 5-star world cruise is definitely a once in a lifetime experience for which people save up their money for years. It never hurts to search for discount luxury cruises that will enable you to indulge in all of your fantasies.

Finding cheap Caribbean cruises from Southampton

Bear in mind that this main concern for booking for the cruise is to relax and then unwind. Your travel will not only provide the chance to explore the beauty of the world but offers you this prospects of meeting new friends or maybe see people you have not met a long time. .Liberty with the Seas is a 160, 000 great deal, 3634-passenger cruise ship that joined service in December 2007. Donnalea Madeley is the Godmother of the beautiful ship, the first travel agent to earn that honor on her contribution in the success from Royal Caribbean and her philanthropy perform in her community. I was impressed while using the ice skating rink, the cantilevered hot tubs that extended 12 feet beyond along side it of the ship, the FlowRider, the mountaineering wall, and the H20 Sector waterpark for kids. The Royal Promenade deck was developed like Main St…. and had many places to sit and the ones watch… including Sorrento’s Pizzeria, Seattle’s Best restaurant, Ben and Jerry’s ice product shop, barbershop and shopping. Clearly there was a 70s disco party one night over the Royal Promenade deck, complete having “Men at Work”, who danced using cruisers. It was a great deal of fun! The cabins on Liberty on the Seas were comfortable and well created. I stayed in an interior (inside) stateroom with no windows. There were full-size flat-screen TVs in every single room. There was enough room to maneuver around and settle in for just two adults, but 3 or 4 in this size stateroom would have become very tight. There was an important loveseat, end table, desk and chair within the room, making it very straightforward work on my computer or simply apply makeup. The pool locale was fantastic, with a waterpark region for children, with interactive statue fountains, ground geysers and cascading down waterfalls. The FlowRider was great fun to watch out people as they attempted viewing or bodysurfing, and great fun it appeared for that more adventurous who tried the idea. Dining onboard Liberty of the Seas was good. Dinner was fabulous in the 3-story formal dining facility. The variety of dining physical place choices was exciting, including Chops Steakhouse, Portofino’s German Restaurant, Windjammer Cafe for buffet-style dining, Jade Cafe Asian-themed casual food, Sorrento’s Pizzeria, and Johnny Rockets restaurant. There is even a Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Shop for ice-cream lovers, or Cupcake Cafe for with a sweet tooth. The mail had warm Caribbean colors together with was tastefully decorated. Liberty was at great condition, and well maintained by way of the staff onboard, who obviously had taken pride in being onboard. Liberty of the Seas is an excellent cruise ship for families having children, multigenerational families looking on a quality cruise with lots to offer you for every age group, along with active adults. If you’re focused on sailing on Liberty of the actual Seas, she cruises the Caribbean in the winter, with prices starting on 9 per person. Mediterranean Cruises-Tips on Finding Good Deals

Article by Brian James

Mediterranean cruises are hot right now. If you are thinking of taking a Mediterranean cruise in the near future, here are some tips that might help you find a better deal. First off, look at the off-peak dates. For instance, the peak times of a Mediterranean cruise are the the summer months-June, July and the first two weeks of August. This is because that is when the kids are out of school and it is a traditional American vacation season. If your travel plans allow you to be flexible, search for the off-peak dates, such as May, the last two weeks in August, September, October and November. These are the times when you will have the best chance of getting a good bargain. Since these are off-peak dates, the cruise line typically lowers the rates to attract more passengers. This year, Mediterranean cruises are the hot destination so the rates for the off-peak season are higher than normal so you’ll have to do a little more searching than usual and be more flexible with your travel dates. Oh yes, and please don’t book a Mediterranean cruise unless you have your passport IN HAND! The passport wait times are longer than normal so don’t chance booking your cruise thinking the passports only take 6 weeks. Be flexible with your choices in cruise lines. If you limit yourself to one particular cruise line, you are at the mercy of their pricing computers. Compare your first pick with 2 or three comparable cruise lines, ships and itineraries. 7 day Mediterranean cruises have better rates than the 10 day Mediterranean cruises and the 10 day cruises have better rates than the 12 day cruises. Not only because they are longer in duration, but because they are the most requested Mediterranean cruises. Don’t forget about airfare. We highly recommend that you get the airfare through the cruise line. They offer comparable rates to what you will find on your own plus they include the roundtrip transfers as well. The biggest reason to get their air is they HAVE to get you to the ship! For more information on your Mediterranean cruise go here.

Finding a Cheap Flight

Article by Chris Marshall

When looking for a cheap flight you should always shop around and try and get as many prices as possible. Although one company might look cheap you not only might be able to find cheaper, but even for a little more you might get more benefits and flexibility in the flight that you are looking for.

And talking of flexibility, try and be prepared to be flexible in your plans in order to find the cheapest flight. Travelling mid-week is cheaper than at the beginning, end or weekend. Also flying late at night or early in the morning will be cheaper than during the daytime.

You will generally find a cheaper price by booking as far as in advance as possible. As soon as you know when you want to fly then start looking for flights. Flights tend to be more expensive the closer you get to the date that you want to fly. Also by booking in advance you can ensure you get the flights you want as flights will get busy and fill up as you get closer to the flight date.

If you use a travel agent then do not settle for their “lowest” fare offered. They will only search a limited number of flights with companies that they work with. By doing some of the work yourself you will not only find a cheaper flight but may find that another company is willing to beat or match it in order to get you to fly with them.

When choosing the airport you are flying from and to, look for any other airports that are nearby. By using a different airport (even if it is a lot smaller) to what you planned to originally use may turn out to be cheaper.

When booking a flight look out for extras that may be incorporated into the flight. You will not always need an in-flight meal especially on short flights or those late at night/early in the morning. Also look for taxes, surcharges and fees that are added on later as these may turn your “cheap” flight into a more expensive one.

Taking the time to find a cheap flight can seem pointless where a reasonably priced flight is readily available but the extra money you could save can go towards your actual trip away giving you more spending money for the things that you really want to enjoy.

Finding The Best Last Minute Flight Deals

Article by Imaculate Johnson

All of us have the itch to get away from the hustle and bustle of making a living and just go out and take a flight to some exotic destination. Annie Lennox couldn’t have said it any more clearly – I travel the world and the seven seas, everybody is looking for something. But traveling can be expensive, especially if you booking tickets at cost. If you want to save money, what you can do is to find the best last minute flight deals.

You can find last minute flight deals from the Internet, either from the airlines themselves, or from websites offering last minute flight deals. There are certainly a lot of choices that you can look up. You only need to look up “last minute flight” on search engines like Google.

The Internet Is Your Best Ally

Back when there was still no Internet, it was almost impossible to find last minute flight deals. But with the sophistication of the Internet, it is now possible to search for last minute flight deals and make your reservations with just a click of the button.

As far as airlines are concerned, all of them always want to sell empty seats before flights. They don’t necessarily advertise last minute flight deals on their website ALL THE TIME. And so what you can do is to call up the airline offices and ask for last minute flight deals.

Low cost travel sites are also one of the best places to find last minute flight deals. Do not believe that you need to book at least two weeks in advance in order to get the cheapest airfares. Many of these websites actually offer the best last minute flight deals.

Time To Think Over Your Best Options

To get the best last minute deals, you might want to consider taking time away from direct flights. Flights on connections cost cheaper than direct flights. If you stick to flights on connections, you will definitely save more money.

You can also save money if you stay one or two days at your destination. Of course, if you stay one or two more additional days, make sure you are staying with family or friends or have enough money to cover your hotel expenses.

Consider Memberships To Last Minute Travel Clubs

Now if you are NOT ready to really stretch yourself just to come up with creative ways to save money on your travel, consider becoming a member of last minute travel clubs.

Aside from giving you deeply discounted last minute flight prices; there are other perks to memberships. Frequent traveling earns you loyalty points which you can use to “buy” other tickets for traveling – that are sure savings for you.

Since travel clubs usually have tie-ups with hotels, you can stay at hotels at discounted rates instead of the published rates. Sometimes the discounts can be as high as 65%. In choosing which travel club to join, it always pays to do your research as with anything else. Find a travel club that offers discounts to an extensive network of hotels in many major cities nationwide.

Finding the Best Cruise Bargains

A well-planned cruise is one of the best vacations you can take. It allows you to relax for a week or so and see several beautiful locations as you enjoy some of the best dining and entertainment available. Even though most of these cruises really pamper their guests, there are quite a few cruise bargains available if you know where to search.

Talk to a local travel agent

Many times a local travel agency can help you find these discounted cruise deals. Most of them are affiliated with the cruise lines and will know of any special promotions that you can take advantage if you are searching for a good cruise deal. They have access to special unadvertised packages that can save you quite a lot of money over the standard fare. The reason for this is that as a departure date approaches for a particular cruise, the cruise line will be very willing to book its remaining cabins. They will normally contact the travel agencies they work with and offer special cruise bargains for the remaining cabins on board. The great thing is that many of these cabins will be in a better class of service and you can secure them for a great price. To take advantage of these cruise bargains you’ll need to work with a travel agent and be somewhat flexible in your travel dates. Because many times these are last minute fares, you will have to be able to travel on a somewhat short notice. In some cases you may only have a week or so to plan for your trip, but by being able to travel at short notice you can save a lot of money with one of these cruise offers.

The internet is a good starting place to find some great deals

Another popular place to find some great cruise bargains is theinternet. The first place to look is the website of the larger cruise companies. They often advertise a special fare on some of their cruises that are under booked. To stay up to date with these fares, many of these websites allow you to register your email address so they can alert you when there are special cruise bargains available. Check these sites often as some amazing cruise deals can pop up anytime due to cancellations of groups or passengers. Many of these cruise companies also offer specialty cruises that have a specific theme and you can find some great bargains with these.

Watch your credit card statements for special offers

Cruise bargains can also be found with many of your credit card companies. Most of the larger credit card companies will occasionally offer cruise bargains to their loyal customers. These deals can be a very good buy if you are in the market for some travel. There may be some restrictions on the dates involved with these cruiseoffers, but if you can adjust your travel arrangements to accommodate them, you can save a lot of money on these fares.

Discounts for frequent travelers

The last place to look for some great cruise bargains is with a carrier you have used before. Many of the cruise lines will reward their past customers with steep discounts on future cruises. If you have sailed before with a particular cruise line, check with them for any cruise bargains they can offer and you might be surprised by the deals you’ll find
